1The Challenge
What was the challenge?
Roche brought 270 people together in Bangkok with a clear mandate: tighten team cohesion, break down silos, and grow the kind of trust that translates into real performance. The 270 participants, all from Roche in Thailand, joined a high-energy Speed Networking workshop. The aim was to lift communication, collaboration, and quick thinking through a run of fun, interactive challenges built to forge stronger connections across the team.
2Our Solution
What solution did we design?
The activity centred on rapid-fire networking tasks — icebreakers, group discussions, and problem-solving challenges. Participants moved through quick interactions, working to outpace the competition while connecting with colleagues from different departments. Throughout, the emphasis stayed on testing communication, collaboration, and adaptability.
3How We Did It
How was the programme delivered?
The day opened with introductory icebreakers to set the mood. Teams then moved through a series of challenges that pushed them to think quickly, collaborate against the clock, and network efficiently in order to get tasks done.
4Key Outcomes
What were the results?
The event drove sharper communication, sparked new relationships, and strengthened teamwork. Participants left with better networking skills and a stronger sense of collaboration — all while having fun and staying fully engaged through a fast-paced, interactive experience.
All 270 attendees finished the programme rating it 9.6/10 overall, with facilitation independently scored at 9.8/10. In the weeks that followed, Roche reported a clear, lasting improvement in cross-team communication — and went on to engage The Thought Bulb again for a follow-up session.
