1The Challenge
What was the challenge?
The firm gathered 75 participants in the Philippines with a clear mandate: tighten team cohesion, break down silos, and grow the kind of trust that translates into real performance. The 75 attendees, from EY GDS (CS), Team AOA, joined a full-day experiential workshop in Manila. The objective was to align them with EY's All In Strategy and Transformative Leadership Model through challenges built around creativity, collaboration, and a growth mindset.
2Our Solution
What solution did we design?
Two tailored challenges anchored the programme. In Trash to Treasure, teams repurposed everyday materials into functional furniture, a hands-on metaphor for branding brilliance and innovation. The Vision Pyramid called for the collaborative build of a 9-foot structure standing for EY's shared purpose and the strength that comes from a growth mindset.
3How We Did It
How was the programme delivered?
The day opened with icebreakers and energizers, then moved into the Trash to Treasure challenge, which centred on transformation, personal brand value, and strategic thinking.
After the break, teams turned to the Vision Pyramid, where the focus shifted to collaboration, alignment, and working toward shared goals.
4Key Outcomes
What were the results?
The workshop nurtured creativity, unity, and leadership alignment. Participants came away with practical insights into reaching goals as a team, adapting to unfamiliar environments, and playing their part in building a better working world.
All 75 attendees finished the programme rating it 9.8/10 overall, with facilitation independently scored at 9.9/10. In the weeks afterward the firm observed a clear, lasting lift in cross-team communication — and subsequently booked The Thought Bulb for a follow-up session.
